What is KYBELLA?
KYBELLA is an FDA-approved injectable containing synthetic deoxycholic acid, which is a naturally-occuring substance found in the body and aids in the breakdown and absorption of dietary fat. When this acid is injected into the fat beneath the chin, it destroys unwanted fat cells resulting in a noticeable reduction in fullness and improved profile. Once destroyed, the fat cells are completely eliminated and will not return.
The Benefits of KYBELLA
KYBELLA makes it possible to spot-treat pockets of fat in hard-to-target areas.
KYBELLA is a progressive treatment - your Provider can start with a few injections and add more until you reach your goal.
Unlike other treatments and procedures, KYBELLA permanently destroys fat cells.

Our KYBELLA treatments are performed by highly trained, advanced medical professionals who have all undergone specialized training and have experience in the aesthetic industry. This ensures that we maintain high safety and efficacy. We participate in the Alle Rewards program to ensure our patients can achieve incredible results in a way that is affordable and attainable.
What Areas Can be Treated With KYBELLA?
Many patients know KYBELLA as a treatment for submental fullness, but our San Ramon & San Francisco Bay Area KYBELLA treatments can permanently reduce fat anywhere fat cells accumulate, including:
Submental Fullness Under Chin
The most common treatment area and the only area that KYBELLA is FDA approved to treat
It is common to have unwanted fat on the sides and upper back around the bra line that can be effectively treated using KYBELLA
Unwanted fat underneath the arms and armpit is a common concern. Injecting KYBELLA into the armpit fat can effectively treat the area and reduce underarm bulge.
Above the Knee
If you are concerned with excess fat above the knee, KYBELLA can be used off label to sculpt and contour the area above the knee
Any Area Containing Unwanted Fat
We can effectively treat any area where there is a concern of excess fat using KYBELLA
What is the KYBELLA Experience Like?
Your KYBELLA treatment at our San Ramon & San Francisco Bay Area medical spa clinic will begin with a consultation in which you and your Be CLINICAL Provider will determine your aesthetic goals. The treatment itself is a minimally invasive procedure. Our highly trained Injectors will use advanced techniques to administer 20-50 injections under the skin into the targeted areas. Treatment typically takes thirty minutes or less. Numbing cream is available for all injectable procedures.
What to Expect Post Treatment?
With any injectable procedure, there is a chance of bruising and swelling. If you have a large volume of fat to be removed, you may experience a large amount of swelling as the fat is liquidized. In the days-weeks following treatment the swelling and bruising will diminish. Your body will begin metabolizing the product over the following weeks and you will begin to see final results after one month. KYBELLA results are permanent.
How is KYBELLA Priced?
KYBELLA at Be CLINICAL is charged per vial. Each treatment session will usually require two or more vials and many patients require two to three sessions. Every patient is different, but during your consultation your Provider will have a better idea of how many vials of KYBELLA will be needed to achieve the desired results.
What Are The Most Common Side Effects?
KYBELLA earned FDA-approval in 2015 and has been used successfully for many years. The most common side effects of KYBELLA include pain, swelling, bruising, redness, and numbness, but most side effects subside in 1-2 weeks.
